Tour de Romford

Must make a rule not to drink and ride bikes. Mark had his bike out with him last night, so we had to take it home. There's something about having a few drinks that, dangerously, makes me want to drive anything that i can.... Car, Bike, Jet, Horse, whatever, there's just this need for speed.

So started riding this bike, it was set too high for me to start with, plus i had my new jeans on which aren't exactly geared for the outdoor way of life. My first attempt saw me jump on one side and fall off the other side of the bike, much to Matt and Mark's joy. Then i piggy-backed Mark for about 100 meters, which indicated i could neither drive in a straight line or be responsible for another mans life. So i ordered Mark off the back of the bike, sped off for 10 meters, directed the bike to the edge of the curb, got the wheel stuck, stopped then realised my feet wouldn't touch the ground, so ended up in the bushes......

They just laughed at me, I laughed at me, it was bloody hilarious. It was going to happen, i was in no fit state to drive that bike.

And that is my lesson for today. Don't drink and drive. Anything!!
